Andy has indeed been “around the block” in the real estate and development industry. Starting in 1986, he worked his way through the consulting side of land development on project types ranging from single-family residential to multi-million dollar World Bank funded infrastructure improvements, from concept and design to construction, and from greenfield development to adaptive reuse. After packing a lifetime of experience into the first half of his career, Andy has shifted his focus into more personal and client-related real estate investment goals.

How does this background and perspective benefit You?

As in every industry, there is an extensive system of planning, preparation and processing that occurs in order for something to be converted into a “finished product” suitable to transfer to the next level. In the real estate industry, this process involves numerous decisions and approvals that have direct and indirect impacts on the value of the property (e.g., a planning and zoning effort that requires an uncommon deed restriction, contaminated soil remediation requirements, building and fire code changes that might affect insurability, future highway or transit corridor studies on adjacent parcels, etc). Andy is plugged into these kinds of networks and as such, has been able to advise numerous clients of both potential pitfalls and hidden future benefit.

In addition to this, his “all day, every day until it’s done” philosophy, ensures property and client representation that is efficient, comprehensive and maximizes the transactional benefit for his clients.
